Staff Accountant (Full-Time, Remote)

You'll own the full accounting cycle across several businesses. Real complexity, real ownership, and owners who want to stop guessing about their numbers and start trusting them.

What you'll own

• AP and cash postings across multiple entities

• Payroll journal entries and accruals

• Account reconciliations, kept clean and current

• Monthly financial statement review — accurate, on time, ready for sign-off

What "great" looks like here

• The close is predictable, repeatable, done early rather than barely on time

• Every reconciliation has a clean trail; if someone asks "why," the answer is one click away

• You surface the odd number before it becomes a problem, not after

• The owners read the statements and move on — no second-guessing, no follow-up questions

Must-haves

• QuickBooks Online experience — non-negotiable. Not "I've seen it." You can navigate and work in it confidently.

• Accounting degree

• 3–5+ years of full-cycle, multi-entity accounting

• Excel well beyond SUM and VLOOKUP

• A genuine interest in using AI and automation to kill repetitive work

• Sharp attention to detail and enough self-direction to run without hand-holding
