Role brief
A prominent New York–based company delivering complex, technology-driven solutions to enterprise and government clients is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee high-impact projects from initiation through completion. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, organized professional with strong project execution skills and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Experience in electronic security or low-voltage systems is a plus, but not required.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple concurrent projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements, timelines, and budget constraints.
Manage the full project lifecycle, including scoping, scheduling, budgeting, execution, monitoring, and closeout.
Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure project milestones are met and resources are effectively allocated.
Oversee procurement activities related to projects, including vendor coordination and purchase tracking.
Maintain clear project documentation, schedules, and reporting to ensure transparency and accountability.
Implement project review and quality control processes to ensure deliverables meet client expectations and applicable standards.
Identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and proactively resolve obstacles to keep projects on track.
Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes clearly to internal stakeholders and clients.
Support the onboarding, training, and ongoing development of team members as needed for project success.
Qualifications
Experience in project management or a related operational role.
Strong background managing complex projects across multiple stakeholders and teams.
Experience with budgeting, financial tracking, and reporting; QuickBooks experience is required.
Familiarity with project management tools, CRM systems, or software migration initiatives is preferred.
Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence interacting with senior leadership, clients, and partners.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Experience in electronic security, construction, low-voltage systems, or technical integrations is a plus but not required.
